12 weeks in/1 out, from now until then,
or
To just keep it in for 4 weeks at the time of the event? I want to do what will most likley allow me to have NO bleeding.
Opinions/suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

Christian Siriano, the man who perfected the reality show catch phrase, weighs in on one of "Project Runway's" most controversial contestants this season, Blayne, and his overuse of the word "Girlicious." Needless to say, he's not a fan.

When the topic of girly-girl TV shows comes up, the same series are often mentioned: “Sex and the City,” “Desperate Housewives,” “Ugly Betty” and the like. They all tend to feature a strong female cast, drama-rific plotlines, modern-day knights in shining armor and often, excellent wardrobes and shoes to die for.
But there are also a slew of “manlier” shows, both currently on-air and retired, that can really appeal to women, me included:
“Queer as Folk”
OK, this former Showtime series isn’t such a stretch. After all, it’s basically “Sex and the City” for gay men, starring hot guys and loaded with drama and humor. (I’m not sure all girls would be able to stomach the scene in which Peter Paige’s Emmett is “interviewing” potential roommates in his kitchen.) Adding to the girly-girl argument, resident heartthrob Gale Harold has joined the cast of “Housewives.”
“Nip/Tuck”
Two rich male doctors, fancy cars, hot women with giant breasts and plenty of blood in the O.R. … Doesn’t sound too girly, does it? But oh, it is. The FX series is chock-full of sexy (and shocking) drama of the family and best-friend variety. And the presence of Dr. Christian Troy’s abs alone can certainly draw the female demographic, though his Michael Jackson-lookalike son, Matt, is a bit creepy. You can be sure I’ll be crying into my scrubs when the show ends after next season.
“Rome”
Honestly, had I not managed – barely – to stomach the bloodbath of the opening battle in the pilot episode of this genius HBO series, I would’ve missed out. (Sadly, it lasted only two seasons.) It’s a tale of duty and friendship between two soliders, set in the politically violent days of the Roman Republic. Yet, the female characters who schemed behind their men helped make this show a can’t miss for me. The perfectly chiseled bodies didn’t hurt, either.
“Law & Order: SVU”
When I’m looking for something girly to watch, crime dramas don’t usually make the list. But Det. Olivia Benson (played by Mariska Hargitay) is an inspiration. Not only does she always look gorgeous, she can more than hold her own in a male-dominated profession and is smart to boot. Unfortunately, A.D.A. Casey Novak is too whiny for me, so the show isn’t on my “must watch” list anymore. But if I’m flipping channels and catch a glimpse of Det. Elliot Stabler (played by Christopher Meloni), helloooooo! I’m glued again.
“Oz”
This violent-as-all-hell prison drama is probably the biggest stretch on my list. The HBO series chronicles the daily life of Aryans, mobsters, corrupt corrections officers and other sketchy inhabitants of Oswald Maximum Security Correctional Facility. If you have trouble stomaching the gory operations of “Nip/Tuck,” good luck sitting through a bloody AND violent fight on “Oz.” But again, gripping plotlines are the hook, as is a totally nude and very buff Chris Meloni.
Hmmm. Looking over my list, it seems that perhaps hot men and well-written plots will get me and my friends to tune in, regardless of whether the show is geared toward men or women.

lol @ Nip/Tuck & QAF being "manly" shows. I would've added Mad Men to this list.
University of Cambridge and Yale University researchers reported in the journal PLoS Medicine that the countries, which received IMF money between 1989 and 2005, experienced, on average, a 16 percent spike in TB death rates after accepting the financial aid followed by a 30.7 percent dip after the loans were paid off.
Even science shows that the IMF is bad for everyone.
The measure would provide aid to save 400,000 homeowners from foreclosures and a plan to boost confidence in troubled mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
That's the headline for a very positive-sounding article on a very negative bill. This bill (like most legislation) doesn't do simply one thing. It actually has a lot of effects, some which don't even seem related. Read the bill for yourself. Note that the introduction (which normally states the 'why' for the bill) is completely unrelated to the text of the bill.
1. Increases the national debt ceiling by $800 billion.
2. Anyone working in the mortgage industry will now be required to be fingerprinted.
3. All credit card transactions will now be reported to the IRS. More importantly, this will now force credit card companies to link SSN's and TIN's to the merchants instead of the internal identifiers they now use for better security. Not to mention all the personal information that would need to be stored (and thus vulnerable) in order to comply with this requirement.
4. The Treasury’s previously limited $2.5 billion line of credit to Fannie Mae / Freddie Mac has instead been increased to unlimited. The Treasury can now buy an unlimited amount of Fannie / Freddie housing securities and stock.
5. To get a loan you have to provide one of the following types of id: verified social-security number, drivers license from a state that implements the REAL ID provisions, a passport, or a Homeland Security photo id card.

The performance by Ledger, who died in January from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs, was voted into ninth place.

Sean "Diddy" Combs is giving marriage a chance.
The bachelor father of six is quietly telling close friends and family that he and singer Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura are heading to the chapel.
"He told everyone to keep it extremely quiet because he didn't want it to get out, but you could tell he was excited," says a source. "Diddy said they hadn't set a date yet, but he wanted his family to hear the news first."
Diddy revealed his engagement to the Connecticut native at his son Justin's eighth-grade graduation ceremony in Riverdale, N.Y., on June 5. The hip-hop megastar met 17-years-younger Cassie after signing her up to his label, Bad Boy Records, in 2006.
Diddy ended his 10-year relationship with model Kim Porter last July.
Do you think Diddy and Cassie make a good couple? Weigh in

I've been on ortho-tricyclen for about 4 years now. I just stopped taking my pills about 2 weeks ago for the first time in these four years. I was young when I began taking them, for bad cramps, acne, etc. But I don't recall gaining weight or anything for I was going through natural growing stages at this point, anyway.
I was just wondering what i'm to expect off the pill, increases in appetites, decreases? libido? emotional roller coasters? Also, my boobs are small now anyway. ARE THEY GOING TO VANISH COMPLETLEY?
Any insight would be really appreciated!!

This former female reality star and now just a D list wannabe decided to make a move on the mahogany one also known as Ronaldo. She offered her services to him for the evening at a reasonable $5000 at which point he laughed and laughed and said, "Look around. Look at me. Why would I pay for anyone?"

I believe that the statement below (from J&K's website) is in response to being featured in the July 28, 2008 issue of the National Enquirer. The statement was posted for several days, but has recently been removed.
To our faithful fans who deserve an answer,In the recent days, we have been informed there are a lot of lies circulating about us. Just so you know we have worked hard to show you our real life and we have succeeded. Although it is not always easy we will continue to show you the good, the bad and the ugly on our show. Unfortunately, as with anyone who is on TV there are jealous bystanders, family included, who for whatever reason insist upon telling hurtful untruths. We will continue to love these family members. We will not retaliate. We will leave it alone out of respect for them. But as a reminder, nothing that you read on the internet or in print is true unless it is approved by us. Thank you for watching as our family grows and develops. Our children have always been our priority, will continue to be our top priority and quite honestly nothing else matters to us.
